Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps Performance in Ukraine Q4 2023

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top navigation and maps applications in Ukraine displayed notable performance trends. Here's a detailed look at the downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for each app.

Google Maps Go saw a significant increase in downloads, peaking at around 76K in the week of October 23. However, downloads dipped to approximately 28K in mid-December before rebounding slightly to 33K by the end of the quarter. The app maintained a high number of weekly active users, starting at around 1.36M and ending the quarter with a slight dip to 1.26M.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced consistent download numbers, with a peak of approximately 21K in the week of October 23. Downloads decreased to around 14K by mid-December but picked up again to 16.5K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users showed a downward trend from about 301K at the beginning of the quarter to 262K by the end.

Google Earth had a steady number of downloads, starting at around 7K at the beginning of the quarter and ending with approximately 3.5K by the end. The app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 35K to 40K mark throughout the quarter.

MAPS.ME: Offline maps GPS Nav showed modest download numbers, with a peak of around 4K in mid-December. Revenue saw some fluctuations, peaking at $94 in the final week of December. Weekly active users hovered around the 13K to 15K range, showing a slight dip towards the end of the quarter.

GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation experienced a decline in downloads, starting at about 5K and dropping to approximately 2.1K by the end of the quarter. Revenue remained low, with minor fluctuations, peaking at $20 in late October. Weekly active users also trended downwards, from approximately 12K at the beginning of the quarter to around 5.5K by the end.
